I picked up bass in early 2023. I had zero experience with music before that. By the time I ordered the bass, the first band was already formed.

I’m addicted to hypnotic loops, French electro and the bottom end. Indie, rock, blues, funk and jazz are my go-to genres.

Shoutout to Music Theory for Musicians and Normal People by Toby W. Rush. This book was a godsend, and I keep returning to it. Dense and to the point. The book is free. I’m a proud donor.

Next up: a main band, top priority. Indie or prog. Either very light and expressive, or very technical.

European Onion bass
My first band. A rock quintet, mostly covers (Pearl Jam, RHCP, RATM) and a few originals. It lasted two and a half years, until October 2026. I'm eternally grateful for my time with them.
